Audrey Tautou

Audrey Tautou born Beaumont, at Puy-deDomme, France on the 9th of August 1976. Audrey Tautou is the fourth child of 4 children. The parents of Audrey Tautou as a dentist and teacher, were aware of and supported their daughter's enthusiasm for acting and drama on the age of a stage novice. The support they provided is more than enough for Audrey to overcome her original goal of becoming a the first primatologist. She rose to prominence as an actress in her early years and with great success. Before she began to pursue her acting career, Tautou took part in Jeunes Premiers an French television show that sought to find talent that was sponsored by Canal+ in 1998. The program also awarded her the title of The award for the Best Young Actress for during the Beziers Festival of Young Actors. Although she studied at in the Institut Catholique de Paris and went to church as a child, Tautou is now averse to this upbringing, stating she's not Catholic. Neben her acting, Tautou took up modeling and was the face of L'Oreal Mont Blanc as well as Chanel. Her photography is also a passion and she recently exhibited her work at the Arles festival under the name Superficial. The majority of her photographs concern the spotlight and fame. The exhibit also includes a collection of self portraits in addition. Audrey Tautou's worldwide popularity and success exploded following her performance as Amelie Poulain's main actress in the film Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amelie Poulain. Amelie has been an international box office success and has been lauded at numerous award events around the globe. It's the highest-grossing French film in America. After the release of this film, Tautou starred in a variety of films, ranging from British dramas and Jean Pierre Jeunet's film Un long Sunday de Faancailles. After that, she shifted to Hollywood and starred with Tom Hanks alongside Ron Howard in The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown.
